Coming to an end AND a Beginning!!

Looking ahead I discovered that we will reach the end of the Wyatt Earp first round of broadcasts this week. All this means is that Saturday Encore Western will start rebroadcasting at the beginning when Bat Masterson was a little on the geeky side, not the Gene Barry version I think most of us prefer. Would have been nice if GB could have done a guest appearance with Hugh Obrien.

It started in January so if we watch them all again we'll have something to help pass the winter with!!

I'll miss Rosco!!!
I'm assuming he went to Mule Heaven!!!

Great series. I didn`t pay too much attention to it when I was a kid. For some reason I didn`t appreciate it. I have watched every episode since Encore Western started in January. It is now one of my all-time favorites and I`m sorry to see it wind up at the OK Corral. I am going to give it a rest this time around.

By the way, I grew to like Mason Alan Dinehart III as Masterson after awhile, gawkiness and all. Gene Barry is so smug that he kind of gets on my nerves.

Promise her anything, but give her a Pez!

I tend to agree with Mickey about Bat Masterson. Gene Barry was smug, and his hoity-toity accent could be annoying, too. I remember Bat Masterson was one of my favorite shows when I was a kid of 9 or 10, because I liked to go to school in a vest and tie! I guess I was a little geeky back then!
