MeTV blows climax with ill-timed commercial

I don't know if it was just the local MeTV channel in Phoenix, but Father's Love (1964) was interrupted twice, once at the climax where you see the outcome of a gunfight, but totally miss the final moments that lead up to it. You blew it MeTV. Fortunately, that episode is still on YouTube, but a lot of them have been removed lately. Is there a better place than either to watch the old episodes?

Sorry about that. I watched it here on the east coast at 1:00 PM
and I don't think I missed any of it. Unfortunately, I don't know
of any other place to watch it.

I thought it was the fault of the local station. They are cued as to when the local ads are to be inserted and someone blew it here.

I've seen "Us Haggens" once on YouTube, and twice on MeTV, and the MeTV cuts occur at the same points.

MeTV sometimes does a good job of deciding where to cut. There's an episode where Matt takes a taciturn young man to breakfast, and MeTV chops half the conversation! If you didn't know it was missing, you might not notice.

I realize MeTV has to meet operating expenses and show at least a small profit, but this abuse of a classic series is unconscionable.

MeTV Phoenix blew it again today. The first six minutes of Gunsmoke had no sound waiting for an alert that never happened. Then after the show was over they started it again and wiped out the first eight minutes of Bonanza. Is someone drinking in the control room! Wishing now I had Encore Westerns again.

Has to be the local station. I got through my daily dose
of Gunsmoke with no problems. Unfortunate, as I don't
know what one could do about it.

I've thought about that before, and figure that's probably one of the main reasons they do get away with it. I think if they were forced to throw up a disclaimer at the start of each episode, stating how many minutes of show were removed, people would either raise hell about it or watch the uncut streaming ones.
