What's in a name?

Certain names (or similar names) appear multiple times over the run of the series.

First, there's Print Asper (1959). Someone must have been enamored with that name, as it was recycled and Burt Reynolds joins the cast as Quint Asper in Quint Asper Comes Home (1962).

Then there's the name Sweet Billy. I can't figure out what it is with this name, but it appears in two episodes:

Marry Me (1961) - Warren Oates guest stars as Sweet Billy Cathcart

Sweet Billy, Singer of Songs (1966) - Bob Random guest stars as Sweet Billy Haggen

Any other similar names that should be included?

Chester evolved into Festus, a name that sounds like an open sore to me!

There have been quite a few notable Festi, however.

Sweet Billy, Singer of Songs (1966) - Bob Random guest stars as Sweet Billy Haggen

I hadn't seen that in years and just caught a bit of it on MeTV. Random really nailed the Haggen dialect. He must have studied Festus for a while preparing for that role. He and Michael Burns have always impressed me on there for their age, but they might have been older than they appeared. Good character actors nonetheless.
