Where is the full 'Theme' in the series?

I bought the first season, but I'm missing the theme sung by this man-choir.

Just as explanation: When I was a little girl, my parents bought a record with TV western themes in the US. There were some pictures at the cover (Bronco, Maveric - and Cheyenne). Believe it or not - I fell in love with the Cheyenne picture right away and the theme ("Cheyenne where will you be camping tonight?")and always wanted to see the movie/series - but it never aired in Germany (where I live) Well, I guess it would loose in a dubed version anyways.

A few weeks ago, the record fell into my hands again and I found the DVD at amazon. It IS the one, all right. The musical theme lingers in the air in all the episodes - but it is never sung! Why? Is there a movie or a pilot, where it comes from, or were the words added in a later season?

Thanks for your input on that.
Cheers
Esther

Unfortunately the full "Cheyenne" theme was not used in the first season episodes, as the show originally ran as part of a rotating combination of 3 different shows under the umbrella name of "Warner Brothers Presents". The full opening and closing theme was not used until the second season. Thus, unless Warner DVD releases more seasons of "Cheyenne", we will not see and hear that famous theme muisc in its entirety.
