Wanted For The Murder Of Cheyenne Bodie was a good episode, but I was kind of disappointed that Dick Foran played a crooked sheriff. I obviously have not seen everything he did, but I never remember him playing a bad guy.

Have to agree with you. Mr. Foran usually played light leading men (boy next store types).

At that stage of his career, Foran may have been trying to expand his acting scope. Or just taking on any acting assignment.

He was a very bad guy in The Fearmakers with Dana Andrews. He was tied up with a commie ring and using an ad agency to influence public opinion on upcoming elections.
