Well, bummer.

Today they showed the first episode of season five and while the storyline was fine, I totally miss the old beginning and ending theme song. It's just not the same without the cool "Cheyenne" music. I don't much care for the musical cues for Bronco and Sugarfoot.

I especially miss the theme being sung as part of the end credits. Thank goodness for DVRs and Youtube!

In later episodes, it's down to two horses with "Sugarfoot" disappearing, then just one--Cheyenne.

Since the Cheyenne Show on TCM doesn't air the Sugarfoot or Bronco episodes, it really doesn't matter.

Oh, of course not, in terms of the actual episodes airing.

But I just find the alteration of the theme song annoying, period.
