I remember watching CK on WOSU-TV 34 (Columbus, OH) when I was very little. I really wish Keeshan's estate would bring back the PBS run and put it out on DVD (with MacArthur Foundation funding tag intact).
Anybody else remember watching the Captain on PBS?

I watched it through the 90's. The PBS version is the only version I ever seen. Never saw it on CBS, cause I was too young. I did see FOX's new version that was short-lived, too.
shareI am not sure if any of the episodes of the CBS version are still around. I believe many of the early episodes may have been destroyed, except for a few which may have special segaments. I think the 70's and 80's versions are still around including the final episode. I think they had reruns of the later years on PBS and FOX's version wasn't that great, Why? NO BOB KEESHAN (playing our Captain!).
I'm sure it will be out someday.
