A co-worker and I are having a serious dis-agreement(all in fun) as tot he lyrics of the tune "Picture Pages"
I say its .... " time to get your pencils and your crayons..."
she says .... " time to get your crayons and your pencils..."
Help....
I can't guarantee this is accurate, but this is what I remember of it:
"Picture Pages, Picture Pages, time again for Picture Pages,
Time to get your crayons and your pencils.
You can play with Picture Pages, (learn some things...?) with Picture Pages.
Time to watch Bill Cosby do a Picture Page with you."
I'm unsure about that third line.
opening theme:

As I recall, CK was the original host of PP, before BC; I believe the lyrics were similar.
In a later version, still hosted by BC (circa 1981, when the show was half an hour, and known--at least briefly--as "Wake Up"), the third line was:

...but I don't remember the rest.
