Where is Marlon's Triumph motorcycle ?

650cc Triumph 6T Thunderbird registration California 63632 ...find this & win a fortune, no doubt....well, James Dean's 500cc Triumph TR5 Trophy & Steve McQueen's ISDT 650cc Triumph TR6 Trophy have been found so why not ?!

Is it me or do all the coolest people on IMDB own Triumph motorcycles- Steve McQueen , James Dean, Richard Gere, Marlon Brando to name the A list ? Check out their IMDB listing and there's the proof

Used to have one similar, a 1951 rigid Speed Twin - fond memories! However, I'm an artist (google B B McGraw) and I need a COLOR reference for Chino's Panhead. Please help! Thanks, Geoff

Once upon my childhood I tracked down this bike. If you look their are actually 2 of Johnny's bikes. you can see the other circling Mary Murphy when Brando pulls up to say "get on". So with that said there is twice the chance of finding one. Well about the bike/s. The bike/s ended up in the studio for many years. Gophers at the studio eventually used it to run errends on. You see in the late fifties early sixties a 1950 Triumph was not a classic but just "an old bike" It's like seeing an 86 Honda Hurricane today. The bike was not kept up and eventually ran a usual Triumph's course of being missused and abused and left for junk. On a call searching for parts for my 1958 Tiger I ran into a fellow Who had one of the bikes. It was at a shop named 'British Bikes of North Hollywood' He told me he sold the bike to some fellow in England who was going to fix it up and ride it. I don't know the truth to that due to the fact that he didn't aggree with me about the rear fender. to me it looks like a Harley Davidson front fender on the Triumphs rear. with that squared off right angle for the under radious. watch the movie see for yourself? Other than that Good luck hunting. fyi Brando never 'owned' a Triumph he only rode one in the movie although he did have a Matchless. but if your going on 'in the movies' don't forget Clint Eastwood, or Bruce Lee ( in the movie Dragon the Bruce Lee Story)

I think this bike may be in Arizona. There is a Harley-Davison owns by Buddy Stubbs. He has a museum of motor cycles. The museum is open on Fridays at 6 and Mr. Stubbs personally shows the over 100 bikes he has owned or acquired. I recently visited his 'shop' and museum and I think I recall something mentioned about the bike Marlon Brandon rode being in his collection.

I wonder how the girl rode the bike with a solo seat and a dress.
Must have given her a thrill.

I used to ride on the back of my dad's Triumph on what was called a pillion seat, basically a wedge of leather-covered foam rubber hardly bigger than a brick, bolted to the fender. I also remember riding on the back of his '41 HD knucklehead, just sitting on the bare fender with the balls of my feet on the rear axle nuts. Not comfortable, but possible. Never had on a dress, though.

Someone else for your "A" list of Triumph owners: Bob Dylan.
