The outdoor California nightclub at the beginning, the beautiful inn, the Carousel Club. Whoever did the set design was very talented. The only scenes shot outside the studio were the two scenes at the train station in Pine Tree.

The outdoor club at the beginning was supposed to be in Florida.

Agree - my wife and I were watching last night and both remarked that the Inn would still be beautiful and cozy by today's standards.
