Marilyn Monroe versus Earth?

The immensely beautiful landscape is remarkable but I couldn't keep my eyes off Marilyn. Sure she does a lot of cute, sexy, vulnerable, little facial expressions during almost every scene but that just helps keep me glued to her. I would have loved to see more scenes with the two leading characters really building their relationship but the movie was great even without it. Monroe really has so much charisma it's remarkable. She sings so beautifully that I am convinced she could have been one of the greatest singers of all time if she had not taken up acting, seriously underrated. Seeing her in that red dress, wow. I hear Megan Fox wants to be like her, well she can't.
Fun film, Mitchum is great, it's beautiful and a real treat.
