Does anyone know if they're planning a Blu-ray release for this movie? I would really love to see it in high definition, digitally restored, of course. They could add the sequels and the 3-D version as extras.

Come on, creature fans! ;) They could probably even fit all the sequels on one disc.

I think this is a good candidate for blu-ray since its an early widescreen film it should look better than Universal's other monster series on blu-ray.
