Creature from Brazil

I never knew the creature was brazilian. And the entire movie takes place (supposedly) in my country! That was a pleasant surprise when I watched it! 

And unless I'm mistaken, there are no kookaburra birds in Brazil. We hear them throughout the movie. Very common for jungle pictures, even though they're found in Australia and New Guinea.

Could you make us a good Brazilian movie list? I love the sound of Brazilian Portuguese!

Sure! A few of my favorites are:

- Cidade de Deus (City of God)
- Tropa de Elite (Elite Squad)
- Meu Nome Não é Johnny (My Name Ain't Johnny)
- O Auto da Compadecida (A Dog's Will)
- Ensaio Sobre a Cegueira (Blindness)
- Bicho de Sete Cabeças (Brainstorm)

Thanks! You should make an IMDb list for your page. And how about Black Orpheus?

Did you notice the guy in Creature kept rolling his Rs like a Spanish accent?

It's a good idea to create a brazilian list. I will think about it! :)

Yeah, I noticed the guy with the Rs, hahaha! I am used to people portraying brazilians as spanish speakers.

Thanks. Let me know if you're do. I took some Portuguese years ago and visited Brazil. I think it's the nicest sounding Romance language. Also, a language to learn now even more since Brazil is improving its infrastructure and is a huge country. Most people don't think about it that way. And I'll drink coffee no matter how hot it is. 
