What an incredible pair of performances. The two are masters in this film. Crosby is also very good.

Indeed, they all three were great and just right for their roles. And don't forget Jacqueline Fontaine, the lounge singer, who made her scene notable.

I agree on all accounts. I was surprised how much I ended up liking this movie. The three principal characters blew me away. I think it might be one of the best films any of them ever appeared.
