Used in Social Studies class

I wonder if others had this movie used in Social Studies class.

For my class back in the day, they showed a specially edited down version of the movie on 16mm chopping out the romance and other stuff and ending before the decision.

And we were supposed to decide on the mutiny in class.

Anyone else had this?

The focus of real greed lies with unrestrained Government.

reply

No. But it occurs to me that the film and/or the book could be shown usefully in a management class.

I used it in a class in psychology. The class rather enjoyed the movie, though I don't know how much they learned about personality disorders, even after my expert gloss on the subject!

reply

Yep we did, too! That was around 1984 for me.
