I liked the fact that the aliens were actually shown!

I thought it was great that the aliens were actually shown! 

Hell yeah! And these aliens looked bizarre and freaky. In other words, what aliens should look like. Yet another reason why this film was so ahead of it's time. Long live George Pal!

Yes, they were scary and just plain weird looking! I wish we could have seen more of them but just the few glimpes we get are perfect. I also would have loved seeing inside their spaceships but I guess we can't have it all...hehe

I always found the aliens in this movie really cool and scary. Not looking very human like most sci-fi movies. Though I liked the newer Tom Cruise version, I wasn't too thrilled with the way the aliens looked. Too cgi looking with a boring grey look.

yea, they were definitely scary! 
