Best qoute ever

"Tokyo is a big city. If we are separated, we may never find each other."

I know, I paraphrased. Nevertheless, the profound beauty of this qoute had me in tears. I interpret it to be saying that we live in a large and complex world, if the younger generation is ever separated from the elder generation, they may never be able to find each other. Furthermore, this is a metaphor for the elements of new and old. "New" tends to abruptly cut off the old, but we should try to avoid this. At least that's the way I see it.

Also the quote:
"Koize won't make it, and he's the one who lives closest."
(Again, paraphrasing.) this qoute just really struck me. The younger generation has so many opportunities to interact with the elderly, technology is advanced and transportation is more available than ever. However, we simply never make the trip in time.
I don't know, this I just my interpretation.
Agree? Disagree?

Agree.

Good post and all, but... it's spelt quote, not "qoute."

The one that stuck out to me and i thought the movie could have even ended on was

“None can serve his parents beyond the grave.”
