Was that the real Mouth of Truth in the film???

I believe so. They shot on location in Rome.

I was just thinking about that scene since this film will be in theaters for a couple of days (Nov. 29 & Dec. 1). I'm wondering if the audience will intentionally overreact to Gregory Peck's actions that scene 

Wikipedia appears to indicate the scene was filmed at the site of the actual sculpture.🐭

If not, it sure looked good. I saw the real one in 2014 and everything in the film looked exactly right to me. (There's also a parody, of sorts, outside the Abitart Hotel in Rome... it's a rear end with a hole in it, called "La Bocca Della Bugia".)
