Since Roman Holiday and It Happened One Night are extremely similar films, which of the 2 is your favorite?

Mine is It Happened One Night, i love Clark Gable too much, he's just way too cool.

Both are classic movie, but i prefer Roman Holiday.

I like Roman Holiday better. Despite vaguely similar premises they are very tonally different.

"It Happened One Night" !

The story very very similar.
Tonally very different - I like that. But they just could have done much more in "Roman Holidays" - more surprising twists, more jokes (fitting to the tone of the movie)
Watching "It Happened One Night" I couldn't stop laughing from beginning to end + good story + amazing actors. But sure if you are a Audrey Hepurn admirer, then it will be "Roman Holidays" for you
