Bad remake of It Happened One Night
I've never been able to sit through this entire movie but the plot is the same as It Happened One Night which was made decades before. The only difference is that in IHON, the characters were charming and there was a sense of adventure.
For all the accolades for Audrey Hepburn I could never understand how she became a major star. It didn't dawn on anyone to give her elocution lessons? There are whole sentences she says that are totally unintelligible. Had they used Jean Simmons (who is a better looking version) at least you could make out the words. In all, Hepburn usually played an innocent girl, who seems to get away with everything because she's cute. This goes from bopping some guy on the head with a guitar in this movie to stealing Halloween marks in Breakfast at Tiffany's.
