Don't you just love it when Princess Ann says

... Two hundred years old?

I think it has something to do with Audrey's dialect, I could listen to it over and over again.

I found it funny when she said "Dag Mevrouw" to the Dutch reporter...

"What if there is no tomorrow? there wasn't one today...!";

reply

I enjoyed listening to her continuously say "so very happy" after she was given the sedative. I always get a good few chuckles out of that.

I love Jesus !
Audrey Hepburn <3 You are missed.

reply

I agree! I often say, "Sooo happy," because of her

reply

YESSS! My favorite! "Two HHHON-dred yea-uhs awld."

reply

I like the quizzical tone of her voice when she awakes the next day:

"Have I been here all night...a-lone?"

"Thanks, guys." "So long, partner."

I just LOVE her voice and the way she speaks.

My favourite is when they ask her about her first cigarette:

"Nothing TO it!"

The Alamo Drafthouses in San Antonio are showing this, so I saw it last night. I had never before realized that at the very end when "meeting some members of the press," she says things like, "how do you do?" and "Encantada," but when she gets to Joe she says "So happy"!

So she either remembers a little of her medically induced spell, or the scriptwriter has provided a sweet little coincidence.

I can't believe that as many times as I have seen this movie, I never noticed the tie-in (so happy) with that first night, like a private joke between them. Thanks for pointing that out!

I love the way she says "OOH, what a horrid idea!" to Joe when they're at the Mouth of Truth.

And then when he asks if she's alright after, she goes "mmmyes..."

SCREAM!

I loved that line! I made a genuine LOL when she said that, and thought to myself, "I am going to like this movie!"

The actual lines go like this:

Princess Ann: I hate this nightgown. I hate all my nightgowns, and I hate all my underwear too.
Countess: My dear, you have lovely things.
Princess Ann: But I'm not two hundred years old. Why can't I sleep in pajamas?

... "You have my permission to withdraw."

I guess that's typical royal-speak, not that original, but it says a lot. It's also the way she says it.
