Something I don't get it

The title is Robot Monster; but Roman doesn't seems to be a robot

reply

His Face is

reply

No it is not; that is his space helmet

reply

You cant know that for sure. Maybe the Ro-Men are born cyborgs with robotic heads and ape bodies. You dont see his face the entire film.

reply

You could easily make a furry robot. Why do robots have to have a metallic finish? The guys in "Dumb and Dumber" had a furry car, didn't they?

Bush Logic:- Killing American embryos = murder. Killing Arab civilians = collateral damage.

reply

The film's crap.

Nuff said.

It's not a lie if you believe it.

reply

So he is not a Monster; only a Furry Robot

reply

He's a furry Robot Monster, what's so hard to understand about that?

You're just picking holes because you don't want to engage with Phil Tucker's grand artistic vision, innit?

I think I recall seeing the 'coming attractions' poster in the theater lobby showing a skull inside the helmet. At the time I thought that was kind of cool, but then I saw the movie the following week. AAACCCKKK!!!

(Second childhood? No, this is still the first one.)

reply

That 'space helmet' was a deep sea diver's helmet. As anachronistic as the hairy suit.

reply

What's wrong with diving in a furry suit ?

***SPOILER ALERT!!!!****

But you know it's all a dream. A kids dream. Hence, the silly fantasy, design and above all bubbles!!
