Is this one of the so bad they just had to release it on DVD movies?
Because I have heard nothing good about this movie. Just that its really funny. But not on purpose.

In my personal view it's the worst movie ever, and a lot of people agree, so that's probably one of the main reasons why it was released on DVD.
It's not a lie if you believe it.
It got recognition, and rightfully so, as one of the worst movies ever made, so after the hype they decided to release it on DVD. The purpose of that is probably so people can realize why the movie is so widely ridiculed.
