I like this film i consider it one of if knot thee best Richard Burton film and how comes its only got a one disc realese and i ask to my self why?.
This is screaming for a 2 disc speacial edition and needs to be a bit remastered as the picture uality isnt all that good but and a few little extras would be good apart from the thearatical trailer maybe a documentry or making of or screen test just that bit extra would be good.
Hopefully this will happen in the future.
What does everyone think about that.

Yes, this movie demands a good special edition DVD. Not just because of the quality of the movie itself but also because it was the first film to be released in the cinemascope format. I would love to see a documentary on the development of that and how it influenced cinema. A special edition of The Robe would be a good dvd to carry such a documentary.
