Cast Painting
In the famous cast painting which is supposed to depict Burton, Simmons and Mature, the lady does not ressemble Miss Simmons. Who posed for that painting? I am puzzled as that definitely is not Miss Simmons.
shareI learned that actress Jean Peters is the mystery lady in the famous cast painting. She was scheduled to do "The Robe" but her pregnancy made it impossible. The studio never bothered to re-do the ad and left Miss Peters in the ad. This should be included in the trivia section.
