National Film Registry
While The Robe is far from a great film, or even a very good one, it does fulfil the National Film Registry criterion for "Culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant films".
I've lobbied the past few years to have this included, but the recent new list for 2016 left it off as well.
What can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence.
