Ditto: does anyone know how I could get hold of a couple of this film, preferably on DVD or in PAL (UK-compatible) format?

They have a few copies, used VHS, on amazon.com. Frankly, I wish it were on DVD,

Hi, saw your reply in trying to get a hold of movie "Return To Paradise". I only wish I could get hold of a VHS copy (NTSC) because I have the ability and equipment to make a perfect DVD (Region Free). As of 12/31/09 it will be available through AMAZON as a MGM dvd-r..same program as the Warner Archive.

This may not help, being that it's 13 years since you asked, but it showed on Turner Classic Movies last night.
