Anyone watched Jake and the Never Land Pirates yet?

shareI've seen bits of it, and i'm sort of iffy. It reminded me of Dora the Explorer but far less annoying. The voice actors for Hook and Smee are pretty good, but they dulled down their characters a bit. In the original, Hook was funny, but you knew he could get murderous when he wanted to. This one is much more tame. The concept is coo, but I don't really like having modern things in Neverland (like skateboards/a half pipe in the episode I saw). I don't think Peter ever actually appears, though they reference him. Overall, I though it was decent, but another watered down "kids" show.

well of course. would you want your kids to see some thing as dark as PP really is? kids get nightmares enough from disney,
as them talking about it all the time on other boards proves..
