How did this not even pick up a nomination for the music? I can't imagine there was a better original song that year than 'Second Star To The Right', one of Disney's most iconic songs. The winner that year, 'In The Cool, cool, cool of Evening' is just okay.

The melody for "Second Star To The Right" was actually originally meant for a song in Alice In Wonderland which was dropped from the final edit of the movie (according to the extras on the Alice blu-ray). Guess they loved the tune/melody so much that they held onto it and wrote new lyrics to be used as the opening song for Peter Pan.
