Original name of snake

In the film, they call the snake "Old Joe", but if you look at their lips, they said something else, but later dubbed over it. Any idea what the snake's original name was? It looks like the 2nd syllable is an A.

I have chronic hearing loss and lip-read, so I know that she did NOT say "Old Joe." She said something like Jakie, or Jay-kay - two syllables, I'm pretty sure, and I rewound and watched her mouth a second time.

Upon further thought, I'm sure that the snake's name was "Jackass!" In the days of 1953, the studio was a little shy about that words, so Jackass becomes "Old Joe."

Nice catch!

Looks like 'Jose' to me....racially insensitive, perhaps?

I noticed too that it was obvious that she was not saying "Old Joe." I rewound the scene several times and at first I agreed that it looked like she was saying "a$$" but then with the idea of the word "jacka$$" fresh in my mind I once again watched the scene over again and now I am convinced she is saying "Who's THAT!?"
