Disappointed----not a safari picture

I thought this was going to be another good, action safari movie like John Wayne's "Hatari" (1962) or John Mills' "Africa: Texas Style" (1967). Instead it turned out to be just another tired movie about infidelity. Except for the exotic backdrop, it could have been set in any American big city. While Hatari also had the competing love triangle, it was a very minor sub-plot and did not involve married individuals.

Can't imagine why a studio would put out the money to film a cheesy movie about infidelity in such a far away location. I watch these movies to escape the drama in my own life, not to be reminded of it. A big thumbs down from me.

I agree entirely. It was a yawn fest. Hatari without the charm, humour, adventure, Duke and Mancini, but with a cobbled together, implausible love triangle instead.

I'm a Grace Kelly fan, but find it incomprehensible she won award nominations for this performance, though she does look gorgeous as per normal.

Not sure why Ford was reputedly down on Ava Gardiner so much; she was the most likeable character in this mess.
