Most boring movie...ever?

I am a rule-abiding IMDb user, and I will report those who do not follow them.

Agreed. What a disappointment. Even though I knew this film was meant to be like the play in a theatre, I found the acting and direction incredibly stiff and boring.
I had to play fast forward so that they would speak a little bit faster!
James Mason was alright, though; and Deborah and Greer were lovely but hardly had any screen time.
Well, and Brando is just one of the most overrated actors to me. Sorry to his fans, but I can never enjoy his performances. He always fails to convince me.

I quite agree about Brando being overrated, but I'm surprised you haven't been mercilessly flamed here in the five years since you said so; his idolworshipers on imdb are legion.

reply

I've seen much more boring movies.

Honestly, the plot engaged me quite a bit even though there wasn't much action.

You apparently are not a Shakespeare fan.Your loss.

If you find this boring, go back and watch Transformers 3 instead.

Pretty close. Fell asleep the 1st time watchint it 28 minutes in. Decided to give it a 2nd chance but had to turn it off after 48 minutes. Can't stand characteres who beat around the bush to say something...

reply

I would watch this movie if only to see one of my favorite actors, Marlon Brando.
