Man, I would love this to come out in 3d bluray! I hear that this has 1 of the best 3d effects, & really for now, the only 3d I would like to get is this & Avatar!

It looks like there might be a 3D Blu-ray release of this 3D classic sometime soon. I urge any 3D fan to buy this one. House of Wax has the best 3D ever and puts the current crop of so called 3D movies to shame. The depth in the Museum scenes is stunning and I had a real fright when Charles Bronson jumped up from the front of the screen.

UPDATE. The WB release announcement for Dial M for Murder, explicitely mentions House of Wax. "Given the current trend toward 3D, we’re delighted to be releasing this authentic classic 3D. This is not a conversion from 2D to 3D, but an original work, with a big tip of the cap to MPI, that illustrates just how good 3D can be. The Warner library has the largest number of classic 3D titles (15) of any studio and over the years we’ve been looking to release them, but not until now has the technology been perfected to the point we can do that. We’re hoping Dial M for Murder is the first of several classic 3D films to be released, with the long-awaited, much requested “House of Wax” expected next."
