Recommendations?

I just watched this and it was great. It reminded me of The Fly which also starred Vincent Price and had that same 'over saturated' look to it, and he played a 'monster'.

Any recommendations for similar films? I watched The Last Man On Earth with Vincent Price and felt it was far below par of these two, if that helps narrow it down.

"The Tingler," "The Abominable Dr. Phibes" and "The Bat" with Vincent Price are all excellent, with strong supporting casts and unique visual styles that hold up today. You might also try Boris Karloff's "Corridors of Blood" and "Grip of the Strangler," which are much more low-tech but very atmospheric.

I didn't care much for "The Last Man on Earth" either – too much of Vincent Price talking to himself.

Somewhat similar, yet more outrageous and less mainstream is Shrunken Heads (1994). Don't say I didn't warn you.

One could also say that Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984) has some thematic and visual-cinematic similarities to House of Wax (1953). It does, really.

Vincent Price wasn't the monster in "The Fly". Al (David) Hedison plays the scientist who is transformed.

Other Vincent Price movies I especially like are:
The Masque of the Red Death (1964)
Pit and the Pendulum (1961)
The Abominable Dr. Phibes
Dr. Phibes Rises Again
The Haunted Palace
Theater of Blood
Madhouse (1974)

I'm a huge Vincent Price fan and some of my favourites are:

Pit and The Pendulum
Twice Told Tales
Tales of Terror
House of Usher
House on Haunted Hill
The Tomb of Ligeia

Plus all the Dr. Phibes movies too.
