William Talman was 38, but looked closer to 50. He was the wrong type for part, too. Really bad casting.

Talman was perfect in this role. He should have got an Oscar nomination. Yes, it was unbelievable when he was said to be twenty-eight, but that's a minor glitch. Excellent casting.
