I saw it in listings, came here to check it out. It's coming on ThisTV today at 1:00PM EST. ThisTV often repeats movies, but I didn't see it upcoming again, yet. Can't wait to see it!
shareI work nights and just happened to wake up as this was coming on ThisTV today! I'm so glad I did, as I'm off tonight, and I could just kick back on the sofa and watch and laugh at this wonderful little movie. I'd never seen it before and this Anglophile enjoyed the heck out of it. I know it's the England of the Fifties, but just seeing Westminster Bridge (which I have walked across numerous times) and the Houses of Parliament made me "homesick". Why have I never heard of this flick before?
Anyway, must have been fate me waking up. Enjoyed it from beginning to end, and here's hoping they run this charmer again. (And as a female, I so felt for Rosalind and her wet stockings. I figure that with the lack of nylon during the War, stockings meant everything to the "modern" woman and to get them wet and dirty pushing Ambrose's car....I was ready to kill him too LOL).
