What did Fatso say?

I'm just wondering if anyone knows what Fatso whispered to Prewitt to start the fight with Maggio. In the movie, he whispers and you can't hear what he says, but I thought maybe it was in the book. Anyone know?

Spoilers (for the novel) of course.

In the book, the fight (or near-fight) occurs in the barracks, and it's not Judson that says the words, but Bloom, one of the boxing privates whose character does not appear in the film.

Bloom sees the photo and says (without knowing it's Maggio's sister): "Man, I bet that one's a hotshot piece of ass to lay."

Maggio goes to his locker, grabs a pool cue and smacks Bloom in the back of the head.

Bloom pulls his bayonet, and then Warden intervenes brandishing an iron lock bar from the rifle rack. The rest of the scene plays out similarly to the movie.

The changes in the film are understandable: (1) Judson appears earlier in the film, and there is no Bloom (along with some other characters) to simplify the storyline; and (2) the words are not spoken in the film due to censorship considerations, I would assume.

I think he said, "I'd like to take her for a ride on a PT boat."
