All Fatso did was kiss the photo of Maggio's sister and Maggio slams a stool over Fatso's head!!! Now kissing the photo was obnoxious yes! But Sinatra could have killed him! Maggio was a violent little fella and should have behaved himself.

Did you watch the movie? After kissing the photo which was bad enough, he then leaned over and whispered something in Prewitt's ear which caused Prewitt to stand up and start after him. Maggio beat him to it though. You can only imagine which disgusting idea Fatso relayed to Prewitt and you certainly cannot blame Maggio for getting a little out of sorts over it.
