Dumb question perhaps, but I haven't seen the film, so hoping you guys can help me out.
What accent does Katie speak with? I'm probably right in saying different to Calam... but which actual region is she from?

She doesn't have much of an accent...but what she does have is fairly typical of New England, I think. Maybe a slight Midwestern touch, but definitely a "northern, educated" stereotype as opposed to Calamity's drawl. Danny's voice falls into the same category, interestingly enough. The movie doesn't say where exactly Katie is really from, probably because it doesn't matter.
