i agree, there's a slight physical resemblance, but not bronson's distinct voice at all (and it wasn't dubbed).
Hey Gregrchstr,
Thanks for the good eye. I doubt if I would have noticed it if I had not read your post. I know KevCarrico may disagree, but if that was not Charley Bronson, I would eat my hat. We only had a short facial view of the actor, but it looked like Bronson to me. It was only a short statement he made as you noted, but the voice was right on the mark for Bronson according to my ears.
The IMDb credits do not list him or anyone else in the role, but that is not uncommon. Bronson's IMDb acting credits go back to 1949 when he was usually billed as Charles Buchinsky (his real name). About 1955 when he started using Bronson for his last name. Between 1949 and the end of 1955, Bronson had at least 45 TV and film credits, and quite a few of the TV credits would be for multiple appearances. I remember him in a bunch of small parts in the early 1950s and always enjoyed seeing him. His film roles became larger with House of Wax in 1953, Tennessee Champ and Vera Cruz in 1954, and Jubal in 1956, but I always thought he really made it big when he starred in Man With A Camera starting in 1958. Obviously he came a long way since 1958.
As you might guess, I have admired Charley Bronson for a lot of years. So, again, I thank Gregrchstr for pointing him out for me in this film.
Best wishes,
Dave Wile
My favorite role of Charles Buchinsky was when Kate Hepburn beat the crap out of him in Pat and Mike.

time to start eating your hat, genius -- not a single biography of his mentions this bit part although they mention many others.
it's like say, see? close, but no cigar.
please prove me wrong (that is, beyond your own imagination).
