McCarthy + Nixon would approve (some spoilers)

I got a strong whiff of McCarthyism from this one. The officials in charge are secretly in cahoots with the bad guys. It's necessary to suspect everyone including the boss and buddy even though in the end they turn out to be good guys. Glenn Ford doesn't just best the bad guys; he has a strange term to call them, "thief", an unusual thing to do that you don't hear in other movies. For "thief" mentally insert "communist".
