Giving up the gun

Your wife has been murdered.

Two people before her, including a cop.

A young woman is in hiding, hurt and afraid.

You receive a phone call that the police protection for your only child has been called off, and fear for her life.

So you toss your gun on the bed and head over unarmed and unable to defend her or yourself?

reply

No, you toss your gun on the bed and head over armed with the gun you took off the bad guy earlier.

It was Larry's gun he threw on the bed. He took it off him in the earlier encounter.🐭

You're wrong about the gun; he picked up an extra one from the guy named Larry he went to see. But, I did wonder why he let his guard down when he rushed to where his child was staying. It turns out it was a good thing or he might have shot an ally but it still seemed kind of odd. It could have been a set up. He knew a lot of the police hierarchy were corrupt and plenty of people were gunning for him.
