shareMe too, I always found it shocking; but then I always second guessed the scene: why would 'The Beast' even bother with such a tiny morsel or be bothered by the puny bullets.
Why can't you wretched prey creatures understand that the Universe doesn't owe you anything!?
My question is why did the cop think his puny .38 caliber bullets would have any affect? And then after emptying his gun on it decide to lower his head and reload. How'd that work out?
shareIt apparently worked out okay, since the same cop showed up a minute or two later--he was one of the group of officers who arrived together to shoot at the beast with rifles. The beast must have spat him out pretty quickly for him to escape unharmed--he didn't even lose his hat.
I'm not crying, you fool, I'm laughing!
Hewwo.
I just noticed that too. Pretty funny.
I wonder if the he is listed on the In Memoriam Board in the station house, Officer Muldoon, Eaten by a Dinosaur, 1953.
