There was a dark-haired, young guy in a green/red top and black jeans hanging around with some sailers throughout the whole number - you see him quite a lot in the background.

I don't know the answer to your question but had to comment on the "Shine On My Shoes" number. Fred is age 54 when this movie was made. I have always been a fan and found his agility in this piece nothing short of amazing. I will be 54 next year and I'm quite sure I could not do it. The guy was simply amazing.
