Why were they rubbing eggs into the horse?
This scene baffled me. I tried to Google but I found nothing.

sharethats becuase google doesn't have everything, often to much of most things, but never everything, that being said, the reason is just like a raw egg shampoo, it's the protien. the protien which is good for hair, it givers it a good scheen (shine), it doesn't matter if it's raw or hard boiled, (as in the movie) , it's just easier for a person to do there hiar in raw eggs, and better to use hard boied in the high desert heat in southern mexico, becuase face it, a raw egg would rot and spoil very quickly, and the smell is pretty suphurus, nothing to techincal, been done for years, just with all the store bought products , it's just not done much since WWII Iguess.
