I saw this movie a year ago and since then I wanna read real Hemingway's writing after it's based, but I simply can't find it anywhere. In library they asked me if it's novel/book or story. I said book then, but now I wonder if maybe it's story. Can someone help me, please? I'm looking forward for answer!

The Snows of Kilimanjaro is a short story. Most probably you will be able to find it in on of Hemingway´s anthologies. I read it in The complete short stories of Ernest Hemingway: The Finca Vigia Edition, which is a very good place to find most of his short stories.
By the way I think that the movie does not make credit to the short story in which it is based on.

It's in the Norton Anthology of American Literature, but that's probably too expensive. There's a book named Snows of Kilimanjaro as well with several short stories. Since the story is considered Hemingway's best, I think it's weird you can't find it.
Sort of amazing that a librarian wasn't able to help you find it. Don't they have to study literature and great authors?
