I hadn't seen this movie since I was a kid back in the 70's but watched it on TCM recently. I thought it was well done and treated the subject matter well. Found it to be quite inspiring.

My chief objection is to the cheap trick of using the Virgin Mary actor's voice as an overdub for the mature Lucia in the final scene in the church with Gilbert Roland - as well as its artificial-sounding delivery.
