Whatever you think of the "miracle" itself (I have my doubts but there seems to have been something that happened there) or the quality of the film (way too much anti-communist stuff and a lot of obvious Hollywood stuff) the film rests upon the shoulders of Susan Warner, who gave a lovely, luminous performance as Lucia. How a substantial career did not materialize from this is a mystery as deep as the third Fatima letter.

the poster was talking about Lucia...who was played by susan whitley

Yes, she was radiant. A very good performance, bringing to mind Jennifer Jones's performance in The Song of Bernadette. Of course, Jones was very much older than little Susan Whitney, which somewhat boosts the quality of Whitney's radiance and her ability to project it.
