The Lusty Men re-released!
According to IMDb, this film is being re-released in France in April, 2006. Surely a DVD release would follow. Anyone have any information?

shareWell, no news as yet, why it wouldn't be released on DVD I don't know. Good story, top line cast and director, well shot. What more does a film need to justify release on DVD? I read somewhere regarding recent re-release of Track of the Cat, with Robert Mitchum, that John Wayne's son, Michael, controlled the rights and refused to release it. However on his death in 2003, his widow negotiated its release with Paramount. No explanation was given for his refusal to allow it to be released. (It is a beautifully presented film, by the way.)So, maybe there are reasons why certain films don't see the light of day, The Lusty Men is a good film that is not available in any form.
