Does anyone recall a song from limelight, with the line ..." it´s the end of the/my world ... ". Sung by a female vocalist.
Anyone...?

That song is not in Limelight. It is in Chaplin's final movie, A Countess From Hong Kong. The song is simply called This is My Song, it was written by Chaplin himself and sung by Petula Clark.

Well I've arrived REALLY late to this party but wanted to weigh in.....I just listened to Petula Clark's record but couldn't find the line about "the end of the world". However there is a famous song called "The End Of The World", sung by Skeeter Davis and later on by Karen Carpenter.
